PREPARE FOR REVIVAL (PART 2)

PREPARE FOR REVIVAL Part 6

“At the heart of every revival is the spirit of prayer.” – Arthur Wallis

The quote above is a reminder that revival doesn’t just happen—it requires a deliberate desire for change. When we grow comfortable or complacent in our spiritual walk, we miss out on the powerful transformation God wants to bring. Revival is birthed in a heart that seeks God with urgency and fervour. It’s time for us to stop living without the fire of revival and start pursuing a deeper, more intimate relationship with God.

Take out some time to Seek God in Prayer.

Prayers for Personal Revival

Father in the name of Jesus;

  1. I come before You with a humble heart, acknowledging my need for Your presence. “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10 KJV) in Jesus’ name.
  2. Revive my soul. Ignite within me a hunger and thirst for Your Word and Your will. Let my heart burn with passion for prayer, fasting, and a deeper relationship with You. I desire to walk in the fullness of Your presence and experience the transformation that only You can bring. “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6 KJV) in Jesus’ name.
  3. Rekindle the fire of revival within my hearts, so that I may boldly declare Your truth and seek Your face with fervor. Let me be a vessel of Your love and power, spreading the good news of salvation to all I encounter. “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee…” (2 Timothy 1:6 KJV) in Jesus’ name.

Prayers for Church Revival
Father, in the name of Jesus:

  1. “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place…And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”(Acts 2:1, 4 KJV)

We pray that Your Church would experience a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Just as You moved powerfully in the early church, bringing signs and wonders and uniting believers in one accord, we ask that You renew our vision and passion for the gospel.

  1. “And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people… and believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.”Acts 5:12, 14 KJV)

We pray that we may be a people who are committed to soul-winning, to reaching the lost, and to shining Your light in a dark world.

  1. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” -Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV)

We pray that You fill the church with zeal and passion for evangelism. Stir our hearts to pray fervently for revival in our communities, cities, and nations. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives and in the world around us.

Prayers for Unity in The Church
Father, in the name of Jesus:

  1. Now I beseech you, brethren… that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”-1 Corinthians 1:10 (KJV)

We ask for a spirit of unity in the body of Christ, that we may come together as one, putting aside our differences, and seeking You with one heart and mind in Jesus’ name.

  1. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray… then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” -2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

We pray that the church will be a place where believers unite in fervent prayer, standing together for justice, good leadership, and revival. Let Your will be done in the hearts of Your people, and let Your name be glorified through us. in Jesus’ name.

  1. “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?”- Psalm 85:6 (KJV)

Father, we believe that revival begins with us—individually, as the Church, and as a nation. Stir our hearts, renew our spirits, and send Your Holy Spirit to empower us to live as vessels of Your revival. We commit to praying, seeking, and serving You with all our hearts in Jesus’ name.

Prayers for National Revival
Father in the name of Jesus:

  1. “O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth.”-Psalm 67:4 (KJV)

We lift up the nations of the earth to You, praying that You would visit us once again with Your mercy and grace.

  1. “Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;” -Psalm 80:14 (KJV). We ask that You look down from heaven and visit the nations with Your power. bringing transformation to the hearts of the leaders, the oppressed, and the lost.
  2. “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”Isaiah 45:22 (KJV).

We pray that the eyes of those who have not yet known You would be opened, that they may see Your greatness and the power of Your salvation may the hearts of the people be turned to You, that we may experience a global revival that will transform the world for Your glory.

Revival starts with a humble heart and fervent prayer. As we seek God’s face and surrender our hearts to Him, He will do a mighty work through us, our churches, and our nations.
