Africa has undergone a dramatic transformation since the colonial era, yet the thirst for power has plunged nations into chaos. Leadership has become a battlefield, leaving ordinary citizens to bear the brunt of political struggles. In Nigeria, this unquenchable desire for power has made politics an obsession, especially among the youth. Hard work and perseverance have been abandoned for quick riches, and education is no longer valued as a path to success. Materialism has taken precedence over faith, and many have turned away from God, believing He is too slow to meet their needs.
The economic crisis—from the removal of fuel subsidies in 2023 to skyrocketing exchange rates and food scarcity—has hardened hearts. As suffering deepens, crime, corruption, ritual killings, and cyber fraud have become rampant. A nation overflowing with resources has been reduced to a place where survival feels like the only goal. Many have even questioned God’s existence, trading their faith for mere survival.
Yet, amid this darkness, there is hope! God has not abandoned Nigeria. Through His servant, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth, a prophetic declaration has gone forth—“Nigeria will rise again, and revival is coming!”
This revival will turn hearts back to the Father, restoring the wisdom and counsel of God. God is about to move in a way that no one can deny. His glory will be revealed in Nigeria.
No nation can thrive without God. Colossians 1:16-17 reminds us that He is the creator and ruler of all things. Now is the time to seek Him with all our hearts. Change will not come from politics alone it will come when we humble ourselves in prayer and acknowledge that only God can restore Nigeria. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
The church must take the lead in uniting Nigeria, setting aside ethnic, religious, and political differences. We must stand together as one, seeking justice and righteous leadership. The suffering must end, and God is ready to restore the glory we once had. But we must return to Him in surrender and prayer.
Let us rise and intercede for our nation. Nigeria will be great again!
