WORSHIP AND REVIVAL

Christians have forever desired the Glory of God to come but God’s glory is not something to handle lightly. And as a result of the worsening ignorance on how to worship or inhabit the Glory of God, God’s glory seem to be getting farther away from God’s people, thus Revival in the body of Christ seems almost impossible.

The Glory of a person is the highest rank or status of his appearance. God’s glory is His highest rank, it is His status. We must act or be in a certain way to experience His Glory and experience Revival not in fleshly habits but in spiritual exercises like genuine seeking worship. Worship has a way of magnifying who God is in one’s life, it gives an in-depth revelation of His magnificence and person. Worship is only complete when it is about who God is, more than about what God can do while Revival is God dwelling with man. It is therefore absolutely impossible for us to dwell with Him or experience Him in His Glory without being lost in worship. Every revival where God came in His Glory,  there were people who fell as if dead, while others like Isaiah cried out their unworthiness, and some fell in love with Him all over again.

In that state of active adoration, God is drawn to a humble worshipper. This is one of the reasons for which we are called:

“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)

The more we draw near to God; the more He draws near to us. (James 4:8). The more we draw near to Him in sincerity and reverence, the more He reveals Himself to us. And the more we know Him, the better we will worship Him. Your worship may not have yet brought in the revival, but if your heart can keep worshipping Him, sooner than later, He will reveal Himself in all His glory and that would be the Revival you seek. Therefore, you ought to seek out and seize every opportunity and meeting to genuinely worship with the saints.

BEHOLD THE GLORY is one of such meetings – a time dedicated to the worship of our God, a time not filled with the usual service activities, where you can come in genuineness of heart and a deep desire to worship and seek after God.

You can join thousands of worshippers both LIVE and online to Behold God’s Glory through Worship. Hallelujah!
